Q. What is so special about print?
A. Well it continues to keep us engaged for longer and as paper is a physical item, it can sit around on desks, tables and bookcases for months, even years!
Paper is tactile and is one of the most recyclable, sustainable, biodegradable, compostable products around; it’s a tree after all!
Printed media engages with most of our senses; those that are tied to our memory and emotions. By adding different kinds of textures, techniques and finishes, we can create impact, making it an even more memorable and enjoyable experience!
So that’s what makes print special, whatsmore it can’t be deleted, but it can be recycled !
Q. But surely we should be saving trees by not using paper?
A. *Paper is one of the few truly sustainable products. Paper is based on wood, a natural and renewable material that is also one of the most recycled commodities in Europe. As young trees grow they absorb CO2 from the atmosphere. Furthermore, as a wood product, paper also continues to store carbon throughout its lifetime.
